As a self-taught designer and photographer, I have always honed my craft by getting my hands dirty. My passion for photography began as a kid, wandering around with my trusty Pentax and a hand-rolled canister of bulk film (why load 36 frames when you can cram 60 in a canister?). As a person who has trouble slowing down and doing one thing at a time, working in my dad’s makeshift darkroom (a converted bathroom) was probably the only time I was still for more than 10 minutes growing up.
I still have that Pentax and most of the equipment from my dad’s darkroom, but I spend most of my artistic “free time” shooting digital photography. Still unable to slow down and do one thing at a time, I also design websites and create digital art. So much for “free time”.
